Dolphin Treasure pokies go right back to December 1996, which makes this one of the oldest Aristocrat video games you can still play today. If you have played Queen of the Nile, it will feel instantly familiar: 15 free games, all wins tripled, and a wild that doubles any win it helps make.
It is a simple, honest game, and that is exactly why people still love it. Here is how it plays and where to try it free.
How Dolphin Treasure pokies play
The original ran on Aristocrat's MK5 hardware with five reels and up to 20 paylines. You chose 1, 5, 10, 15 or 20 lines and a bet per line, and a 9-line version was also produced.
The Dolphin is the wild. It substitutes for other symbols and doubles any win it is part of. Treasure chests are the scatter and pay anywhere on screen.
The free games feature
- Land 3, 4 or 5 scattered Treasure symbols to win 15 free games.
- All wins during the free games are tripled.
- A Dolphin wild in a free games win doubles it as well, so it can pay six times the normal amount.
- More free games can be won during the feature.
There is also a classic gamble option: guess the colour to double a win or the suit to quadruple it, or just take the win. We always take the win, but that is just us.
Symbols and pays
- Dolphin: wild, doubles wins.
- Treasure: scatter, triggers free games.
- Seahorse, Turtle and Starfish: the premium sea creatures.
- Fish, Octopus and card values 9 to Ace: the lower pays.
