Lightning Link Casino is Aristocrat's official free app built around its biggest modern franchise. Published by Product Madness, Aristocrat's social casino studio, it is packed with Hold & Spin link games: Lightning Link, Dragon Link, Dollar Storm, Cash Express and more.
You play with virtual coins only, so there is no money on the line. Below we cover what is in the Lightning Link app, how the bonus timer and missions work, and the legit ways to collect Lightning Link free coins.
What the Lightning Link app is
Lightning Link Casino is a social casino: genuine Aristocrat game designs, played with virtual coins that have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. The app states it does not offer gambling or a chance to win money or prizes, and it is rated 18+.
In the Australian App Store it is listed as Lightning Link Casino Pokies; on Google Play it is Lightning Link Casino Slots. Both come from Product Madness, and the Google Play page shows more than 10 million installs.
The app uses the same Hold & Spin idea as the pub machine. Land enough of the special coin symbols and they lock in place while you get a handful of respins to fill the screen. Our Hold & Spin explainer walks through it step by step.
Lightning Link Casino games list
The official store descriptions highlight these Aristocrat titles. As always, lobbies change and some games unlock with levels.
- Lightning Link games including Tiki Fire, Heart Throb and Wild Chuco
- Dragon Link games including Golden Century and Panda Magic
- Dollar Storm, with Egyptian Jewels and Caribbean Gold
- Cash Express: Gold Class, featuring More Chilli and Whales of Cash
- King of the Nile
- Buffalo Gold, Buffalo Deluxe and Buffalo Triple Power
- Moon Race, Mo Mo Mo Mummy and Bao Zhu Zhao Fu
The app says new pokies arrive every month. If you prefer the older pub classics, such as Queen of the Nile and Big Red, try Heart of Vegas instead.
Getting the Lightning Link app
Product Madness lists Lightning Link Casino for iPhone, iPad and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and check the developer is Product Madness.
We could not find an official browser version of the full game that Product Madness promotes, so treat any "play Lightning Link online free" website with suspicion. On a computer, Heart of Vegas is the official app with a web version, and it also carries Lightning Link games.
Never download a Lightning Link APK from a third-party site. The real app is free on Google Play, so there is no good reason to get it anywhere else.
How the app differs from the pub machine
The art, sounds and feature flow will feel familiar if you have played Lightning Link at your local, but a few things are different.
- The jackpots are virtual. Grand, Major, Minor and Mini still exist, but they pay out in app coins only.
- The maths is the app's own. A social game is tuned for entertainment, so how often features land in the app tells you nothing about a venue machine.
- Bets scale with your level. As you level up, higher bet options open and the coin numbers get bigger. Nothing forces you to use them.
- Extras sit on top. Missions, lightning points and the Lightning Wheel are app-only layers you will not find on a cabinet.
Think of it as a free way to learn the features and enjoy the theme, not as practice for anything.
Lightning Link free coins: the legit ways
People search for Lightning Link free coins more than almost anything else about the app. Here is what the official listings describe:
- Welcome coins. New players get a welcome balance. The store currently advertises 10,000,000 virtual coins.
- Three-hour bonus. Free coins can be claimed every three hours from the lobby.
- Lightning Wheel. Spin the wheel for extra coins and rewards.
- Daily missions. Finish missions to earn lightning points and unlock rewards as you progress.
- Levelling up. Higher levels pay bonuses and open new games.
- Official social pages. Product Madness posts coin gifts on its official social channels. Use only links from those pages, opened on the device where the app is installed.
Many sites collect and republish "daily coin links". We do not link to them. Some copy official gifts, some are stale and some are fronts for surveys or logins. The official app and its own social pages are all you need.
Coin generators, mods and other traps
No website can add coins to your Lightning Link account. Balances are stored on Product Madness servers. Anything calling itself a Lightning Link coin generator or hack is after your login, your personal details or your time spent on surveys.
- Do not type your Facebook or Google password into any site outside the app.
- Do not install modded APKs promising unlimited coins.
- Do not buy coins from people on social media. It can get your account closed.

Is the Lightning Link Casino app worth it?
If Hold & Spin is your thing, this is the app to have. It has the deepest line-up of Lightning Link and Dragon Link titles of any official app, plus missions that give you something to aim for between features.
Link games are streaky by design, so balances can drop fast. Play smaller bets, collect the three-hour bonus and close the app when you run low. If play stops being fun, our play-safely page has practical tips.
