FactEvery spin is decided by a random number generator. The machine has no memory of the last spin or the last hundred.
"Pokies go cold right after a big feature."
FactThe odds on the next spin are exactly the same. Streaks feel real because our brains love patterns, but the maths doesn't change.
"Stopping the reels early changes the result."
FactThe result is locked the moment you press spin. Slamming the button only speeds up the animation.
